Romeo al Babuino

Excellent location, convenient to public transport, and in a fabulous neighborhood. Excellent and effective service. Kindness and precision. Very nice and welcoming room. The elevator alone is worth a trip... And around the corner, the restaurant at Edy's.... equally excellent..

Weird musty smell in the unit. Room is rather rundown and old. Walls are dirty with marks. Shower area has a weird design where it's above floor level but has no door so every time you shower, the floor will get really wet. When we arrived, there was no soap and it only came 6 hours after we asked for some. There was also no hot water and we called and texted the host only to get a short reply after an hour. We couldn't take a shower that first night because the water was freezing. There was no explanation from the host, no apology, not even an update on it having been fixed if we hadn't asked. Asked for a kettle and it came but it was dirty. We didn't bother complaining much to the host because we know it would be pointless seeing how inhospitable they are and the lack of care they show towards the guests' comfort. The only good thing about this place is the location. FYI this is NOT a hotel.

Great place and location. Clean and private suites. Easy access to nice restaurants and shops. Close to the Spanish Steps. Management is very responsive and professional. Arranged transport back to the airport for an early flight. Would recommend this place.
