San Pietro House

We arrived on July 1, 2026 when temp was close to 100F. After checking in and went to the room, we found out that the AC wasn’t working. So I contacted the person in charge whose name was Dario and he was very rude, basically he said too bad. We stayed there for two nights with no AC and they just didn’t care. They just gave us a fan. Dario sent a nasty note to me saying that he wasn’t sorry and he never apologized

We checked in and checked out within the first 45 minutes. We left immediately and booked another hotel, so we paid for two hotels for the exact dates. The location, apartment, and overall experience were incredibly creepy and unwelcoming. Many red flags... TIP: When searching for this property on Google, be cautious of a B&B in Rome with a "similar name" and high reviews on another platform. These are two different properties managed by two different hosts. It may be a deliberate marketing strategy to deceive guests. The pictures shown here are heavily filtered to make it appear that this is a contemporary apartment, which it is not. It is actually in an old, rusty building and the apartment is partially renovated. Bed linens are old and it reeks a stale smell the moment you enter the room. The toilet is leaking, and the person who checked us in has instructed us to use a bucket as an alternative. Yes, the host is dictacting us to follow an ancient way of doing our hygiene! :- ) The B&B did not display its address on the building. I scheduled my check-in for 6-7pm based on the stated check-in time of 2pm to 8pm. However, the host thought they were doing us a favor by allowing us to check-in at 6pm. When we arrived, the building did not have the B&B name listed. After contacting the host, they provided a name to look for on the building's name board, but we still couldn't that name too. Eventually, another tenant let us in because the host was not consistently responsive. All of this happened during heavy rain, but we managed to stay dry. Now comes the terrible check-in experience! This was the first time that the check-in person, who was an assistant/maid of the host, was not ready to leave after checking us in at around 6:10 p.m. She was busy cleaning, fixing toilet leaks, folding clothes, organizing garbage etc. She expected us to wait for her to finish her work. After almost 30 minutes, when we asked for privacy to freshen up, she became impatient and started blaming her boss for assigning her last-minute tasks. This further made us feel uncomfortable. I understood that It is not her fault, as the lady seems to be following the host's orders and appears uncomfortable with the entire situation. During my update of the situation to the host via the chat, he began to defend himself and asked me to be patient and eventually started to blame us. He wants us to wait until his assistant walks around the house and fixes toilet leaks, complete her cleaning tasks, which is very inconvenient to accept. So we decided to leave! Therefore, yes, we have an insensitive host. Beware! The place is unsafe and rusty, with an irresponsible host, and located in some dark corner of an outskirt town caller Cipro. Therefore, it is advisable to stay away!

We stayed in this B&B the last weekend of January. The room is clean with ensuite bathroom, breakfast was included in the price,it was simple (a croissant,butter,marmelades,bread,juice and coffee) but nice. Everyday cleaning in the room. Vicenzo,the owner was very helpfull,he waited for us at 19:00 when we arrived and explained everything to us.Also last day you can leave your baggage in the house and take it anytime you want and just leave the keys on the kitchen table. A small issue with the noise only as you can hear everyone on the common areas. Free wifi which worked very good!! Overall it was a good stay and i recommend it.
