Spagna Luxury Suite

Stayed in room number 1 for 7 nights. Bonus was having a balcony however there was scaffolding as some work was being done but the balcony was still useable. Scaffolding was taken down eventually so had 3 days without the scaffolding. Overall I was happy with the room, it was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and TV worked with no problems. No noise from neighbouring rooms as mentioned in previous reviews. Room cleaned on daily basis and fresh towels/sheets every 2 or 3 days. Friendly reception staff. Very close to Spanish steps and central Rome. No complaints whatsoever. I think it is good value for money considering how central it is. Can’t comment on breakfast as I didn’t have it.

I booked this hotel for my daughter and her boyfriend. They were arriving in Rome (FCO) at 1030 PM and leaving next afternoon. I paid the $78 for a night. I told them the details of their travel and not to expect them till late as they still had to travel from the airport to city center. They ended up charging them another 57 euro! They weren’t even staying there 12 hours! I just feel that when you’re in that business, things happen when people travel ~ delays, missed connections, etc. It comes with the territory. That was a HARSH penalty for 2 college kids passing thru. IMO

No flexibility with changing dates. Check in after 19:00 will cost you 30 euro. Room was very small. Walls are very thin so forget privacy. Breakfast is two rolls a juice box and a nespresso pod to use with the machine in your room. Bedspread had stains on it.
