Starhotel Metropole

I am a tour leader, and I wanted to highlight the extraordinary professionalism and efficiency of the reception area. I often find myself doing airport transfers, and although it is excellently located, the hotel has a difficult situation for parking departing buses. In addition to a team of excellent receptionists, the hotel boasts, in my opinion, the best porterage service in Rome. Alessio and his team of porters are very organized, very attentive, and extremely helpful, making our work much easier. Keep it up and thank you:) Simone Galluzzi

DO NOT STAY HERE. Our experience at this hotel was an absolute NIGHTMARE. While our luggage was in the hotel lobby with a member of our party, someone walked straight through the front entrance, grabbed one of our bags, and walked right back out. Inside that bag were our passports, driver's licenses, jewelry, electronics, and other irreplaceable valuables. There was absolutely NO visible security presence anywhere in the building, no one monitoring the lobby, and the bell staff did absolutely nothing to intervene or even notice what was happening. Even more concerning, hotel staff admitted that this has happened in the past. A hotel that is aware of repeated thefts but does nothing to prevent them is putting every guest at risk. DO NOT BOOK THIS.
