Stay Inn

Every time we are in Rome we choose a hotel at the centre ,this time we preferred the stay inn we booked without breakfast ,the hotel has the best position very clean very easy for everything you want to see to do by foot. .in the room there is a coffee machine and the lady was leaving coffee and cookies every day .thank for everything see you soon again .

We stayed there for one night in a perfectly Clean room. Checking in and a checking out went on smoothly with perfectly educated and knowledgeable reception staff. The location was what made me choose this hotel setting how it's right on Via del Corso but I was impressed with the hotel also as a whole. Thank you for your hard work on making us feel welcomed!

So I was visiting Rome with my cousin for a 2 night girls trip and we had a strict budget for our hotel. For this budget, we could only mainly find apartments or air b n b type places. We then found Stay Inn in on booking.com which not only met our budget but also appeared to be a hotel rather than an an apartment so I booked straight away.  However, despite it being advertised in this way and even having a reception desk at the establishment, it was in fact only apartments and had no reception on site. After some time of waiting, a gentleman came down to greet us and told us to follow him to check in. He told us that the Stay Inn was a part of another hotel called Hotel Condotti (which I knew before booking), however I didn't know that this meant we had to check in there and that if we needed anything we'd have to call up this hotel or physically go there.  So off we went with this guy to check in to our hotel via this other hotel which we were quite annoyed about. What's the point of having a reception desk at our actual hotel if it isn't going to be used? Very deceptive. We had no idea where we were going, it was raining, this guy was walking way ahead of us (with an umbrella for himself and not us may I add lol) to this other hotel which ended up being a 3/5 min walk away. When we arrived to hotel Condotti we then had the pleasure of being told our room wasn't ready yet despite me messaging them our flight times via booking.com so we had to come back in 3 hours to check in. Not a big deal but it would have been nice if we could have freshened up a bit before beginning our exploration of Rome. This also meant we couldn't go too far away to see much because we were worried about our luggage and wanted to get back asap. Good job we like shopping as the hotel is a 5 min walk from the Spanish Steps and all the shops.  We then went back when our room was ready at 3 only to find out that we had not been given the code to enter the building so we then had to go back to hotel Condotti to get this and walk back again. All in all, if I had known this up front, I probably wouldn't have booked because I wanted a hotel experience and this certainly wasn't what I got.  On the upside though the rooms were nice, clean and modern, had a fridge which came in very handy and was in a good location for exploring the city of Rome (35 mins from Vatican, 30 from colosseum, 10 from Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and 5 from Spanish steps). As it's a small hotel, we could hear when the rooms next door were entering/leaving and even when they had their hairdryer on but we still had a comfortable stay and I would stay again if I had a very strict budget and now know how it is set up. The rooms look as they do in the pictures also.
