Suites Rome 55

I was mislead by the previous reviews here. The room is away from the center ....quite far away. You end up spending a minimum of 20 euros to reach the center. The apartment is best for people on a work visit or with a rented car for moving around. No stores or restaurants anywhere in the vicinity and that's a huge head ache to be honest. The reception does not work all the time and you have no one to go to for any of the queries. Even while checking out within the pre determined 12 in the afternoon, there was no one there to whom we could handover the keys, hence ended up giving it to someone else staying in the building. Don't be confused by the other reviews in there....it's no where near the Spanish steps....Google the location and the distance and don't do the stupidity I did. Nonetheless, the room was clean and good. The staff, specially Francesca was amazing. But while on a 6 day trip to Rome, it really cost us making such a mistake because of a misleading review here.

Suites Rome is such a special place to stay! It is a 5min walk from the Spanish Steps. It is in the most delightful street, with many small restaurants and shops. There is a SPAR supermarket across from the entrance to Suites Rome. Inside, Suites Rome is immaculately clean. The room was cleaned daily. It is tastefully furnished. We travelled with our daughter so the upstairs area gave excellent separation of space. It is air conditioned. Free WIFI is included. Norman took care of everything we needed - so very helpful and always so polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The airport shuttle service to the airport when we left was just terrific. I will recommend Suites Rome to everyone I meet for when they visit Rome - look no further! Excellent value too!

Our apartement was perfect: clean, modern, comfortable, big enough for the two of us, clean bathroom, little kitchen and wifi. it was easy to find the next bus station and it took about 40 minutes to Rome centre. Everything was exactly as described on the apartement's homepage.
