The Bailey's Hotel Rome

I stayed 3 nights at this 4 star hotel at a high price and am extremely disappointed with the experience. • Upon arrival, the room gave off a persistent unpleasant smell. • The first night went well, but the next day, a leak appeared on the ceiling, which already showed signs of mold. • A technician intervened to repair the leak, but the next 2 nights went without air conditioning (outdoor temperature 30 degrees) in a room with a strong smell of unbearable humidity. • Impossible to ventilate properly: the window, tiny and misplaced (on an emergency staircase), did not bring any renewal of air. We even had to leave the room door open on the hotel corridor, which is unacceptable for an establishment of this standing. My spouse was soaking wet and the Welcoming Person saw us like this without doing anything special: “sorry” we were told... • I reported the problem 3 times at reception: no real solution, just a given deodorant spray... and no compensation offered. For a 4-star hotel and at this rate, it is aberrant. The experience was disappointing from start to finish, and I leave with bitter taste Coffee water and tea offered in the room.

Very comfortable hotel with lovely staff. Only 10 minute walk to the train station and plenty of restaurants around and a super market and bus line 5 minutes walk away. We walked to the Vatican, colosseum, Spanish steps and Trevi fountain with no problem from the hotel. We would definitely stay again
