Villa Plauzi

The hotel is located in an industrial zone next door to a junk yard and a factory, which start working 7 am. In the same premises the hotel runs also a disco with a karaoke show every night till 1 am. The breakfast contains no fresh choices only sweet cakes and prepacked cookies. The receptionist gave fake information about the direction to Tivoli and had no local maps available obviously with the purpose to keep us there for dinner, although on Mondays there is no chef, so the menu is limited. (The main road to the center of Tivoli runs right next to the hotel.) When we asked for the manager of the hotel in the morning he refused to talk to us; I found him sitting in the back of the restaurant despite of the information the receptionist gave about him being in Rome. The photos and description of the hotel is a complete mismatch with what you get. It would be an all right place if it was honest about its marketing: is is a suburb location with low level infrastructure and environment trying their best to create a decent hosting experience. The price is still out of scale. We were very upset.
