Villa S. Lorenzo

Very charming rustic Italian hotel, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Rooms clean and comfortable beds. Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. 30 min walk to the colosseum or 20 min to termini station. Airport transfers if requested and valve for money. Would definitely come back. 10/10

Location out further than I expected. Quiet hotel. Room was clean, power points not great, A/C not adequate but they did give me a fan which helped. It was good value for what we paid. No real amenities, breakfast was ok. Could do with being ungraded especially the A/C as being there in Aug you need to come back to a much cooler room. Staff pleasant enough. Not quite as nice as photos suggests.

The rooms are very classic Italian and old fashioned, but are very clean. The AC worked well, and the balcony we had was lovely. A bit further out of the city than initially realised as Rome doesn’t seem to be the most well-connected city, but not a problem really. In an area that felt less safe than the rest of Rome, but we had no problems and would stay again.
