Grand Hotel Del Mare Resort & Spa

We recently stayed at the Grand Hotel which was a lovely first experience. Excellent quality of food & service throughout with some amazing particularly French antiques. We opted for the Tower Club experience which included 'English' afternoon tea & some snacks & drinks. Slight issue with a large event being hosted by our hotel but Davide at reception dealt with this in a professional manner. Also have to mention Morgan who was very friendly & helpful.

Unfortunately, the staff is rude, arrogant, tired, and not very welcoming. No good morning, welcome, please have a seat... Instead: if guests want to stay, unfortunately they have to pay.... you cannot take the water away.... I will tidy up the buffet first and then I will bring you the water... Absolutely inappropriate and unjustifiable!! I highly recommend a crash course in customer care (@ziomaxcervinia). Until then, we will go elsewhere!

It has been ten years now that this splendid stretch of the Ligurian coast has been our regular stop. Every time we have a couple of days and feel the need to relax, our only point of reference is this: a place where we find true friends and the hospitality of home. It is an exceptional, rejuvenating, and relaxing place, characterized by large spaces, extremely comfortable rooms, impeccable breakfasts, and 5-star pampering service. Beach, pool, restaurants, and bars are always at our complete disposal for every occasion. We had a wonderful stay again this year. The staff was extraordinary, always friendly and helpful: from the guys at the pool and the beach, to the room and bar staff, up to the reception, which as always greets us with the thoughtful gesture of water for the trip home. We are literally in love with this resort. A special thanks goes to the Manager Alessandro and his incredible staff, always ready to accommodate our every request with the utmost professionalism. You are fantastic... we already miss you! See you soon!
