You’d better avoid this place at any cost. For the following reasons: The rooms are on the basement level (under street level) so no natural light during the day. The pics are blurred for a reason. So you can’t see the real state of the rooms. You can see real pics on other sites like google. In general: Dirty, stained, soiled. The walls are stained, so it looks like people overruled the gravity and walked on the walls. The worst part that your pillow touches the stained wall, and then, you touch it with your face Mould, stinking, with dirty, black joints in the bathroom. Furniture is rundown and in an awful state. Terrible air conditioner. No door-bell. You’ll have to make an international phone call for check-in. Moreover, you have to let the owner know at what time exactly you come and if you are late he will dress you down for that. You can’t COMPLAIN. If you do, you will be KICKED OUT by the owner Fabio. As it happened to us. We put a formal complaint to booking.com and while waiting for their decicion Fabio came being drunk and very rude and kicked us out. In the middle of the night. We were two girls and we couldn’t fight with a drunk Italian guy, so we surrendered. He charged us all 3 nights, although we stood there less than 2 hours. Now we are preparing all the formal papers for official complaint and court. It’s not as close to a station as it said to be. For people with big luggage, it would be quite complicated to get there. As I said you can see the real pics on other sites, there are plenty of them. So if you are in sound mind you’d better stay away from this place as far as possible.

La Spezia was our base for our Cinque Terre day trip, we got off the train and headed for the hotel. We were absolutely amazed with this town, loved it!! Called the guy at the hotel, 'Fabio'. He was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was great, bed a bit firm for my liking, but hey , hard to accommodate every traveler. Can't fault the room, location or the town. Fabio was great, I wanted to have a few drinks with him, and just talk all things Italy, he gave us a bit of insight to our onward journey.

This place is really great. Calm and super clean. It has everything we needed to cook our meals, few steps away from the center , the bus stop and the supermarket. We really recommend it, it’s not on the cliff but you can still see the beach. The host is smiley and amazing.
