Albergo Birra

We stayed at the Albergo Birra in Savignone for just one night, during a trip with a friend. From our arrival, the property appeared exactly as we expected: simple, with a somewhat retro style, but at the same time very welcoming. 👋 WELCOME The young man who welcomed us was very kind and helpful right from the start. He accompanied us personally to the room, showing it to us and explaining what was necessary. A simple but certainly appreciated welcome. 🛏️ ROOM We stayed in a standard room, without any particular expectations but still functional and, above all, clean. The bathroom is rather small, but it has everything necessary. A real plus of the room was certainly the soundproofing: despite the presence of the road below and the proximity of the highway, we heard practically nothing all night, allowing us to sleep peacefully. The presence of Sky on the TV was also very appreciated, a detail not to be taken for granted for a property of this type. Among the aspects that could be improved, however, I would point out the shower, which is slightly small, even if obviously there is little to be done about this. I would have also preferred to find at least two pillows available in the room per person: at the moment there was only one each and, to have a second one, it would have been necessary to request it at the reception. 🥐 BREAKFAST – THE REAL PLUS The strong point of our short stay was definitely the breakfast. It is a buffet served directly at the table, and also in this case it was the guy who had welcomed us the previous day who took care of the service, always with great kindness. The quality of the products really surprised us: a good selection of both sweet and savory, fresh, quality products, and also an excellent juice. A breakfast that, in my opinion, certainly raises the overall level of the stay and that we particularly appreciated. 💬 IN CONCLUSION Overall, a short but absolutely pleasant stay. It is not a property designed for those looking for luxury or particularly refined services, but for business trips, work travel, or stays of one or two nights, I find it absolutely valid. Simple, welcoming, clean, and with a breakfast that certainly represents an extra edge. Recommended for short stays and as a base.

Great structure. The staff is very kind and helpful; Mr. Enrico made us feel as if we were at home, and I would also add that he displayed disarming politeness and professionalism. Stayed for 2 nights to visit the big bench in the area. Very clean room, varied and quality breakfast. Private parking and the possibility to dine at the brewery/restaurant across from the hotel. Great accommodation on the outskirts of Genoa.
