Best Western Porto Antico

It was 86 degrees in the room, neither we nor our daughters slept, that is the height of absurdity for a hotel! It is frankly shameful for a $270 room. Yet the site clearly indicated that the rooms were equipped... Do not let yourself be fooled by their false advertising, they know it very well since the beds only have a simple sheet. By the way, fresh water in the rooms costs extra, the tap water is lukewarm, and parking costs $27 per day; curiously, that is not posted on their site. One positive point though: the staff is very friendly.

I had a comfortable stay at Best Western Genoa, made especially memorable thanks to Carlotta and Michele, who were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. Their friendliness and willingness to assist really elevated the experience. The location is excellent — easy to get around, and the hotel itself is clean, well-kept, and has good air conditioning, which made returning after a hot day feel like a relief. Breakfast was so‑so. It did the job, but it wasn’t a standout part of the stay. One absolute highlight was Pizza Savo, directly opposite the hotel. The pizza is delicious — so good that I went twice. I would say typical Ligurian hospitality... the TV in the room does not work, the welcome leaves much to be desired... therefore the price is not justified.
