I would like to report the total inconsistency between what your establishment stated and what was communicated over the phone regarding the pet-friendly policy.
I chose your hotel primarily for two reasons: the location and the pet-friendly designation, which is fundamental for me as I regularly travel with my dogs, both for work and leisure.
For this reason, I know perfectly well what it means for a facility to be truly pet-friendly: any limitations in common areas are understandable, but dogs can stay in the room, as is the case in any hotel that correctly uses this definition.
When contacting your reception for a simple confirmation of the reservation, I instead encountered completely different information from what was published:
supplements communicated in a manner inconsistent with what was indicated online;
restrictions not mentioned anywhere;
above all, the absolute prohibition of leaving dogs alone in the room, a condition that does not appear either on your website or in the description of the facility.
All of this was accompanied by an unprofessional attitude and an explanation that it is "normal" to have such a restriction is at least questionable.
At this point, it is evident that your establishment does not meet the minimum criteria to be considered pet-friendly.
Therefore, either remove this designation or clearly and transparently update the description, specifying all the actual limitations.
The lack of correct information completely compromised my planning, effectively ruining the weekend.
I find it unacceptable that a hotel presenting itself as pet-friendly omits such relevant details and communicates different conditions only after the reservation.
I therefore request that my report be taken into account and that necessary measures be adopted to prevent other customers from finding themselves in the same situation.
