Porto Roca

When staying in Monterosso this hotel would be hard to beat. Sweeping 180 degree views of the ocean from Seaview room and infinity pool. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. After visiting all the 5 towns of CT this hotel and the town of Monterosso are the pick of the bunch. The rooms are on the small side but the verandah with view is incredible. Monterosso being the largest town has an abundance of great restaurants and the beach is easy and lovely to swim at.

Porto Roco is a fantastic luxury hotel. The hotel itself is located on a cliff, so it has the best view in Monterosso by far. We had a balcony with sea views. It was completely magical to sit there in the evening as it gets dark. The sun sets behind the mountain so you don't get a sunset over the sea, but still a magical view. The hotel has a pool with fantastic views. You can look out over the sea or up towards the hill where they grow grapes. The pool bar has what you need and the staff brings it down to the sun lounger you are in. There are always enough sun loungers so you don't have to get up at 0530 to secure a sun lounger like at other hotels. The restaurant has the best view in Monterosso and a good wine cellar. The food is first class. The service at the hotel is very good. Definitely the best hotel in Monterosso. The atmosphere at the hotel is very relaxed, so we had a great time and want to come back. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing holiday at the Hotel Porto Roca. The location was just magical and our deluxe Seaview room with Terrace Deck had fantastic views over the water. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we experienced. Special thanks to the fabulous staff in the pool bar, breakfast dining room and on the shuttle bus. They were all friendly, professional and very helpful during our stay. Thank you for such an awesome stay !
