Booked by my wife, who is always very attentive to the quality of accommodations, we arrive at the property in the early afternoon as agreed. Already in the entrance driveway, with the pool on the right, the attention to cleanliness and the care of the exterior leaves something to be desired (it looks like an open construction site, with objects of various kinds left lying around without any logical order). After checking in, they assign us apartment 14. We park in the assigned spot and go up (just my wife and I) to bring the first suitcases and check the condition of the accommodation (entrance to the units dirty with cigarette butts and filth, certainly due to the rudeness of some, but cleaning is definitely the responsibility of the property). Once inside the accommodation, a nightmare. In order - sofa used as a second bed with cuts, burns, and approximate cleaning - fridge with water present on the internal shelves - cooktop with rust - mini balcony with worn plastic chairs - bathroom with rusty tub, Victorian-era curtain - encrusted toilet that makes noise for at least 5 minutes after use - second room without air conditioning, as expected, and a half-broken fan - dresser with a misaligned shelf. I call the kids to have them visit "the cave" and upon returning to the accommodation we see a lady leaving (with suitcases already unloaded), I ask why she was in our "cave" and I receive no answer (only later do we discover she is the mother-in-law of the lady who had welcomed us at reception). I decide to reload everything into the car and head toward the reception. By my standards, the reaction is firm but composed (my wife was surprised) and after expressing my criticisms of the "cave," I point out to them that it would have been more honest to put the real photos on their site, so customers would have been aware of what they were getting into. After the refund of the tourist tax, upon our request to reimburse what was paid for the vacation, we were informed that only the company that manages the facility was authorized to compensate customers, so we would have had to forward any compensation requests to the latter. In short, if you want an "alternative" experience, go ahead and book. For the record, the vacation went well, booked a facility in Albenga (done in a parking lot in Pietra while I was trying to lower my blood pressure) with super kind and helpful staff, with a top-notch facility. I think the money paid is lost by now. It's up to you.

When reality exceeds fantasy: calling this property a hovel is an understatement! Dilapidated, dirty accommodation that does not correspond to what is advertised by major online travel agencies Our accommodation was located in an old 70s-style building; upon entering, we found, in order: 1) in the living area, a sofa with a worn, dirty cover, with cigarette burns and various cuts in the fabric, a refrigerator with water on the shelves, a greasy kitchenette, chairs on the mini balcony encrusted with grime 2) bedroom with a broken chest of drawers, an unsightly bedspread, dirty sheets (we did not investigate what the detected traces were!!!), dirty curtains 3) in the bathroom, the presence of a bathtub (instead of the indicated shower) with encrustations, rust, and hair residues of various kinds, an unstable toilet seat, rusty radiators Absence of air conditioning and towels, although both were indicated in the booking We attempted in good faith to get back what we had already paid to Booking, but the owners refused, claiming it was not their responsibility and that we should send a complaint to Booking. I should have called the police and the health inspectors... now I will take legal action!

Terrible experience from every point of view. The apartment received does not correspond to the one advertised and the conditions of the facility are far from what one expects when booking a vacation home. The photographs in the listing do not correspond to reality, for example the bathroom is equipped with an old, chipped, and deteriorated bathtub instead of the shower shown in the images. The cot provided is also completely different from the one advertised: instead of a real cot, a folding field-hospital-style cot was delivered, which is absolutely inadequate for a minor. The listing indicated the presence of a coffee machine, but there wasn't one. Even more serious, the parking was advertised as private and free, while upon arrival I was asked for an advance payment of $10 per day, for a total of $60, in clear contrast to what was promised. The hygienic conditions of the apartment are simply unacceptable. The kitchen sink is greasy and dirty, the terrace chairs are filthy and black with dirt and unusable, the terrace is full of debris, sticky residue, and weeds. The bathroom is also in terrible condition, with a chipped bathtub and a rusty, corroded sink. The apartment shows signs of neglect and a total lack of maintenance everywhere: a damaged television plug that makes it impossible to watch TV, a completely worn-out remote control with illegible buttons, and a persistent smell of smoke, despite the no-smoking sign posted inside. The most serious aspect, however, concerns safety. The apartment is located on the third floor without an elevator and the stairwell light stays on for just three seconds, forcing guests to climb practically in the dark. Because of this situation, a minor tripped on the stairs and got hurt. It is a very serious situation that should never occur in an accommodation facility. The swimming pool, advertised as a facility service, is also in terrible condition. It is completely devoid of a lifeguard or any staff assigned to surveillance and maintenance. During our stay, we never saw anyone clean it with a net or perform maintenance work. The water was full of dirt, bird feathers, and other floating debris, giving a clear feeling of neglect and poor hygiene. On the terrace, there was also a colony of ants that invaded the apartment, making the situation even more serious. This infestation forced us to leave the accommodation because there were no acceptable sanitary conditions, and despite our immediate report, no one intervened to solve the problem. The common areas of the building are also dilapidated and neglected, confirming a general lack of maintenance. I am deeply disappointed by this experience. The description in the listing does not reflect reality, the cleaning standards are severely insufficient, and there are also obvious safety issues. I would not recommend this facility to anyone, and if I had known the actual condition of the accommodation, I would never have booked it.
