I'm writing this review so that others in a similar situation can hopefully read and make a decision for themselves. We booked the "family room" that is advertised for 2 adults and 2 children. We stayed in the family room the last week of July --2 adults and 1 child. The room is extremely small! We had no room to store our luggage and had to step around it the entire stay. Additionally, we had to wear shoes in the room as the floors were extremely dirty. If we walked barefoot our feet turned black. We asked more than once to have the floors cleaned and were assured that the floors would be cleaned. They never were. Even with the above, the biggest issue was that basically the AC did NOT work in the room. The room is basically in the attic/roof of the hotel and absorbs the hot Italian sun all day long. We were not comfortable any night we stayed as the AC never cooled the room off. Maybe at a different time of year the AC would not matter but in July/Aug the room was unbearable. We were sweating the entire time we were in the room. We have stayed in similar priced hotels in Capri where the AC was extremely strong, rooms were big, floors were clean and service was exceptional. I'm talking nice hotels in Capri not cheap hotels. Given the prices charged we would not stay here again. We believed the value received did not match what we paid. At 1,250 euros per night we would expect clean floors, a larger room and an AC that worked. If I had known what we would experience we would have stayed somewhere else. Access to the beach (which is nice) doesn't offset the experience. Generally speaking most of the staff were friendly and attentive.

Fabulous 5-star boutique hotel in Paraggi. The rooms are adorable, very comfortable, and well-appointed. Food is outstanding and having access to the beach club is indispensable. Paraggi is the perfect spot if you’re interested in Portofino - a gorgeous walk or quick shuttle ride from the hotel (provided by the hotel itself). Having access to the amenities of both Eight Hotels (Paraggi and Portofino) was also an outstanding touch. If anything at all comes up during your stay, the hotel manager will absolutely do everything in his power to ensure your satisfaction. Highly recommend Eight Hotel Paraggi!

We stayed at EIGHT Paraggi and paid over €1,030 per night for a street-facing room that was less than 15 square meters. At that price, you expect so much more. The value for money is simply not there, and we genuinely felt ripped off. The restaurant was another major disappointment. The food was far below what you would expect from a hotel at this level, while the prices were outrageously high. The final bill will definitely leave you speechless—but not for the right reasons. The location is beautiful, but it alone cannot justify such excessive rates. Overall, this is an experience I would not repeat and cannot recommend. We stayed at EIGHT Paraggi paying over €1,030 per night for a room with a street view and less than 15 m². At that price, one expects much more. The price-quality ratio is simply unjustifiable and we felt truly disappointed. The restaurant was another big disappointment. The food quality is well below expectations for a hotel of this level, while the prices are, to say the least, exorbitant. The final bill will definitely leave you speechless, but unfortunately not for a good reason. The location is beautiful, but it alone is not enough to justify such high rates. Overall, an experience I would not repeat and that I do not feel I can recommend.
