BW TIGULLIO ROYAL HOTEL

The location of the hotel is great, A very short 5 minute walk from the station and nicely situated on the sea front. Rapallo is a cute holiday town with a nice vibe to it. I had no issues with noise in my room. The staff were very friendly and helpful - On initial booking there was a problem with my card payment going through but I contacted the hotel directly and they were quick and prompt in sorting things out. The room was great - I got a good deal on an upgrade to a superior room for my 7 night stay - everything was well looked after by the staff, clean and tidied each day too. The breakfast was also good - A large selection of a whole variety of things, pastries, fruit, meats, eggs, cereals. A very good way to start the day. The price was pretty good and worth paying for - As a solo traveler paying for a room and not splitting it with someone, is just one of those things.

Excellent stay at the Tigullio Royal Hotel in Rapallo. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the old town, the seafront, and the ferries to Portofino and the Cinque Terre. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Breakfast offered a good selection of fresh and high-quality products, making for a great start to the day. A great choice for exploring the Italian Riviera. I would gladly stay here again.

Hotel in an enviable location with a splendid view of the Gulf of Tigullio. In addition to the excellent location, the hotel boasts a well-maintained facility with new and bright rooms. And the breakfast is definitely above the average for facilities in the area, with an excellent selection for both sweet and savory options (a rarity in Italy!). We only note one small drawback: despite a reservation for a standard double room, we were offered a paid upgrade that is usually provided to me for free at Best Western properties due to the Diamond level of my membership. These are choices at the discretion of the property that are absolutely respectable and understandable, but knowing that many other hotels affiliated with the same chain apply this courtesy directly at no extra cost to Rewards program members, this choice by the hotel leads us to make some evaluations. For the sake of reporting, we also note that we gladly accepted the surcharge for the upgrade, repaid by the possibility of having enjoyed a decidedly better view from the room.
