Hotel Flory

We stayed for 3 nights in September 2018. It was easy to find from the train station. Do not take the taxi, RIP OFF! Rooms are very tired and not ultra clean. The air con does not work from the room. It has to be switched on and off by reception, so you have to pre-booked in effect. This was our only complaint as its states on Booking.com it has air-con! The breakfast was very good, with cold continental format and homemade cake by the husband. The wife was very friendly and helpful on reception, with the map and hints on how to explore, find the beach and get to Portofino.

We stayed four nights in this charming little hotel, just five minutes walk from the absolute city centre. The room was excellent, as was the breakfast, but what really made us love the place was the generous and helpful staff. In so many ways they made our stay memorable, helping us to answer any question and solve any problem. We felt at home at once, getting support when we needed it but always in a discrete and attentive manner, so that we could also choose to manage ourselves.

We stayed here for just one night as we cycled down the west coast of Italy. Location of the hotel is superb - quiet, out of the way but close to the main part of town. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room on the small side but perfectly functional - and with some quaint, old style charm. Smallest shower I’ve ever seen but hey, it worked! Wifi was good. Breakfast good. Only quibble is that AC seemed to sit off over night -so room was a bit too warm for comfortable sleeping. I would definitely recommend this place!
