Hotel Helios

We loved this hotel! we travelled as a couple with our 18 month old baby for context. 1. the location is perfect - 5 min walk from the train station, few mins walk to shops/restaurants, beach right on the doorstep. 2. our room had a huge balcony - room 23 - overlooking the sea and pool area. even had loungers on the balcony. Rooms are slightly dated decor wise but we don't care about things like that. 3. spotlessly clean - housekeeping would come twice a day so always had fresh towels and bedding. 4. breakfast was included - decent spread of hot/cold breakfast things 5. staff were amazing with our little boy - no issues with getting some milk for him at bedtime. the town of Santa Margarita is lovely - very quaint with lovely choice of restaurants. not too busy, but still felt a nice buzz about the place. We took the ferry from the port to Portofino & San Fruttosso which i would recommend. Some nights the room felt quite noisy - lots of young people hang around in the piazza under our room - that was the only downside i think.

Excellent stay at the Hotel Helios in Santa Margherita from check-in to check-out. Very friendly and attentive staff - fantastic breakfast in beautiful settings. We really enjoyed the magical ocean and city view from our terrace and by far the best pool and beach area - we will for sure be back again.

A lovely Hotel, fantastic location and attentive staff. The rooms may not be as big as some may like, however this is a call the customer must make.
