Imperial Palace

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and, as far as the location, the rooms, and the service are concerned, I have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, this time I was very disappointed by the handling of my report by the housekeeping department. I forgot my swimsuit drying in room 201. After realizing I had forgotten it, I immediately contacted the hotel, but I was informed that, following the checks carried out, the item was not found. From a 5-star property, I would have expected more accurate lost and found management and communication, worthy of the hotel's level. This experience left me deeply disappointed, especially thinking about what could have happened in the case of a more valuable item.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel did not have any international power adapters available, making it impossible to charge my phone, smartwatch, headphones, or use my personal hairdryer. The staff showed little interest in helping and simply said they had no adapters in stock without offering any alternative solution. Considering the high room rates, I expected much better service. The overall customer service was poor and did not justify the price. I would not recommend this hotel, as there are neighboring hotels that offer better value and a far superior guest experience.

Overall a very nice experience. All the local Italian staff were friendly and helpful as you would expect. However, the international staff at the front desk were unfriendly and not very helpful at all. No valet waiting to take our car when we arrived. The breakfast was basic buffet only and missing basic items like greek yoghurt, berries, french toast/pancakes etc The dinner however was a delight and would definitely return for the food and the view. The beach was great, although cold water in June. The grounds perfectly kept and beautiful. We found the lunch menu limited, but good quality food. The other guests were mostly quiet and respectful. Our room was beautiful if you like the old style Italian decor. But the bed was hard for us albeit very big. All round it was a great stay and we would return.
