It is difficult for me to give a rating to this property: humanly I should give more, technically a little less. I will find a middle ground. Let's start with the exterior: excellent location, basically a 1-minute walk and you are at the sea... if you want, you can walk 100 meters and there is a public beach. The sea is clean, it's not Sardinia but there are worse... the beach is well-maintained. The town is cute but small... the brand-new and very long bike path is truly fantastic... one should come just for that. In short, the area is really quiet. Let's move on to the hotel: it needs a little general refresh: rooms are a bit small and many without a bidet; unfortunately, I couldn't choose, but you can overlook the size, you know how rooms are in Liguria, they are small (but personally I would have preferred to have a bidet). Bath towels were sometimes a bit worn, but clean and changed when needed. The shower shelf for the body wash was loose, the wardrobe in the triple room was not suitable for the number of people in my opinion, one suitcase remained full, the elevator needs some attention. The cleaning lady was a little forgetful. Let's move on to the common areas: the common dining room is optimal and clean, with air conditioning, but it wasn't always working at its best... sometimes it was a bit hot; breakfast is essential but complete, cappuccino from the machine, but good. Lunch and dinner were very good, dishes not excellent, but you eat well. Service was a bit rushed, but they are attentive to requests. The daily menu choice was good. Reception staff was efficient. And this is where I get into a crisis, because as far as the lady who manages the property is concerned, I can only express praise for her patience and extreme kindness, whereas her brother was unfortunately rude. Instead of explaining to me why the supposed shower head for the toilet wasn't working, he addressed me in the third person, telling the receptionist to show me the video he had filmed. It would have been enough for him to kindly tell me, as I had addressed him, to open the knob that I had mistakenly thought was the main shut-off for the small bathroom... I wanted to let it go out of respect for Ms. Silvia, and also because I was in an organized group... but I did wrong, I should have gotten it off my chest on the spot instead of writing about it, and for this I apologize... but this was personally the only negative note of the stay for me. Clientele is varied... the idea of the whirlpool on the terrace is really good, but it should be taken care of a bit more. In short, as I was saying, it is an essential but complete hotel. Location, as I said at the beginning, is very strategic. The idea of the hotel's bicycles on-site is excellent, which can be booked for free upon a deposit that is then returned. In short, for being in Liguria, it is certainly a hotel with some flaws, but it has what is needed and the staff is kind and helpful.

Simple hotel, close to the beach, our room was very nice, large, with all amenities and a nice view, good food with varied menus and good quality, very helpful and nice staff.
