Miramare (Superior)

Before our arrival, we received an email with directions to reach the hotel. It was very useful, since the hotel is located in the historic center and access by car is not immediate. The welcome at the reception was extremely friendly and professional. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a splendid view of the Bay of Silence. The room was spacious, equipped with a balcony, and was tidied up twice a day. The buffet breakfast is rich and of excellent quality. The only small suggestion concerns a greater variety of fresh fruit. Dinner was also excellent: refined dishes, quality ingredients, and attentive and very kind service. The prices are not low, but the price-quality ratio is absolutely adequate. Numerous sun loungers were always available on the beach. The sea, unfortunately, was not as clean as we expected: there was some plastic waste present that could have been removed more frequently. We also appreciated the SPA, a pleasant added value that perfectly completes the hotel's offer. Overall, we had a truly splendid stay at the Miramare. The location, directly on the beach of the Baia del Silenzio, is exceptional; the environment is quiet, the staff is always smiling and professional, and the cuisine is of the highest level. We would be happy to return.

Enchanting location, rooms (ours was a standard one) very comfortable and spacious. Only downside: we would have liked to spend the day on the beach with sunbeds and umbrella (€80 for standard rooms as it was not included in the room type) but we were told three consecutive times to ask later because they were not sure they could coordinate the exit from the beach with the car pickup. At that point we gave up and went elsewhere. Fantastic breakfast in total relaxation by the beach.

Very welcoming property. Competent and kind staff. Restaurant with beach to recommend. Very relaxing seaside.
