Villa delle Pesche

The location of the hotel is not great, it's very far from train station and the cost. The room very very ever-modest, but the old style of the hotel is quite pretty. So, very cheap hotel for one night, no more

The hotel is quite a way from the town centre which is fine if you don't mind a good walk. The room was large, spacious & clean but as mentioned in other reviews in need of renovation. The shower/ensuite was possibly the smallest I have ever seen and with windows that didn't close properly. I had many insect bites one morning but am unsure if they were from mosquitoes or another 'bug'. Make sure you have insect repellant handy! The breakfast was very average. It was a bit noisy from the highway but not too bad with windows closed. Frustrating that we were not told to check in at the camping ground. Staff were very pleasant and polite. All in all good v alue for money.

The main minus is the position: it's outside sestri and it's not easy to go to town on foot. Second, it's close to the highway. Excluding this, the villa is delicious, charming and has a big garden surrounding it. The rooms are clean even if they're old and full of charme. The buffet for breakfast is good and it's served in the patio in the garden. There is also a small train taking you to the beach for only 50 cents and the staff is very friendly. Stay away if you are intersted in modern rooms full of comfort as all the old ones have shared bathroom, but it's clean and big. Recommended for old charme lovers and peace hunters.
