Hotel Mimosa

A very positive experience. Extremely kind staff. Homemade cuisine that is varied and abundant. Excellent location.

We stayed for 12 days, between late July and early August. We had a great time. The choice of a family-run hotel was not accidental: for years we have seen that it benefits the quality / price ratio. Mimosa confirmed the goodness of the choice: Welcoming, availability, cleanliness, cuisine and, last but not least, location are great. Our room (105) had a large terrace, without sea view, but equipped with a drying rack and table with chairs (useful for eating, for those who were not in half or full board). Thorough cleaning, both of the room, and of the common areas. The restaurant offers every day two first courses and as many second courses to choose from the day before, always so abundant that at least a taste of the dish not chosen was still available. All professionally served at the table. Another note of merit: for the first time, in facilities of the same category, I found dessert or ice cream also for lunch, not only for dinner. And how sweet! All homemade and excellent, generous in the fillings. Even these plentiful, so much so that the next morning they joined the pies and plumcakes always made by them, in the breakfast buffet. Very good brioche (empty, apricot and chocolate sack), jams and creams packaged in single portion. Cereals of various kinds, everything you need to make your own toast, scrambled eggs, fruit salad and fruit. Orange juice, pineapple. Mr. Roberto's cappuccino is fabulous. The owners, who wait tables for all meals, pamper guests by continuing to offer other coffee or another hot drink. We had no special needs, but we had the opportunity to see the staff at work in handling some situations with great professionalism. The hotel has an agreement with two bathrooms practically opposite, of which they provide contacts (we stayed at Lord Nelson, which we liked very much. Attention: the beach is sandy, but not the shore, you need shoes, both for walking, both to enter the water. There are considerable steps and after a couple of meters suddenly you do not touch. However, there are ropes braked to help you get in and out) and is in the center, a stone's throw from all services, medical guard, station, shops, clubs and the two squares where the many shows offered take place, as well as attractions for children. Next to the hotel there is a rich bazaar with tobacco and an amazing ice cream shop (also soy ice cream). We highly recommend the hotel Mimosa, for its excellent quality, low cost, location.
