Station Abaco B&B

First of all, place looks so much better in reality than in pictures! It is quiet, clean and very well located guesthouse. I think it is a great deal and value for the money. We were three friends sharing one room, which was spacious and cozy. The host Marta is very sweet and helpful. Due to the language barrier we couldn't book a taxi, she did it for us and (also!) our friends who were staying at another location. Thanks a lot! And next time we are in Bergamo, we will definitely choose your place.

A great place in downtown Bergamo, very near to Stazione Centrale, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Marta the girl who runs it is in charge of details and able to make your stay as nice as possible

5 of us stayed for just one night at this place, in two rooms: one double and one triple. The triple room was large and had also a small table with two chairs. The couple who shared the matrimonial bed were happy with it whereas I slept in the single one which, I have to say, was not that comfortable. The other guys who shared the double bedroom said they slept well and the beds were good. The place is clean and generally quiet but there is only one shared bathroom for several rooms i.e. for perhaps more than 10 people sharing that and the kitchen simultaneously. This can be an issue in case one is rushing to get an early train in the morning after. Internet worked well and seemed reliable reaching out to all rooms and even down in the street, tens of meters away from the 2nd floor of the building in which this B&B is located. The general location of the building is excellent: one can reach there in a few minutes walk from the train station. One of the town's main streets is just a few hundred of meters away and there are several restaurants, bars and other shops there as well. The guy who was running the place when I reached there, Marco, was very helpful and had good manners. While it may seem that this place is charging guests slightly more than other similar B&Bs, I found it was well worth the price.
