Historic hotel. Splendid view. However, the rooms are not very functional. Few outlets, old bed with footboards that are not practical when you are tall, doors that creak. A junior suite that, when you have the sofa unfolded for the 3rd bed, does not even give you access to the coffee maker anymore. The room is off-limits. No A/C, in short, a night that is too expensive for what it is.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bellavista Boutique Hotel, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Renato and the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were always incredibly kind, attentive, and eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They even allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in and had our bags brought up to our room before we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. We were given a beautiful room with an incredible view, making our stay even more special. For our last evening, the staff reserved one of the best tables in the restaurant for us, creating the perfect setting for a memorable farewell dinner. The level of hospitality and attention to detail exceeded all of our expectations. Every interaction with the team made us feel valued and cared for. We also highly recommend the hotel’s restaurant—the food, the service, and the atmosphere were all outstanding. Thank you, Renato, and the entire Bellavista team, for making our trip to Lake Como so unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back! If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic view, but it is too little for what they charge [total dinner € 95.50] including 1 water and 2 covers. Let's start with the fact that in Brunate there are very few parking spaces [which are rightly used by residents], and they only offer it if you are in the hotel but not if you are at the restaurant... It should be specified on the website so that one arrives by funicular from Como instead of walking more than 20 minutes leaving the car on the roadside in a no-parking zone.... Dinner: 1 eggplant parmesan [in the second courses at € 18] taken as an appetizer that could barely be a side dish due to the small portion, very light and appreciated given the heat... duck breast cooked to order asked if it was rare and the girl clearly said yes but the blood is pasteurized...., arrived very tough and obviously overcooked in addition to the reduced portion [€ 26] [the table next to us also complained about the same problem of tough meat].... tartare arrived dry on top [probably prepared too early] and really in a reduced quantity even though the meat was of good quality [€ 18]... the ideas are good but good cooking is another.... prosecco by the glass € 11.12 per glass... a coffee and a limoncello offered [we noticed from the receipt when we got home] a waiter dropped a basket of bread [obviously it can happen] picked up from the floor the rolls were put back in the basket set aside but sadly put back on a table. Services? Bathrooms need renovation. Staff is abundant but not very professional and trained. A real shame, I certainly will not return, but tourists are attracted by the scenic view but certainly not by the food. It is now really difficult to find a restaurant that lives up to its reputation.
