Grand Hotel Villa Torretta

Execellent hotel when 1-2 days in Milan. Anita from the reception was fantastic. The staff at breakfast was a little slow and forgetful.

Poor service from the front desk, very old rooms, the air conditioning does not cool, the last night there was no light in the room, they had to call the electrician at 11:00 PM.

Very beautiful location situated in a strategically advantageous logistical position. An unusual hotel due to its historic structure with very beautiful rooms and spaces. Rooms: characteristic and well-maintained, but they have some significant flaws. Soundproofing from external noise needs to be completely revised, and the functionality of the air conditioning is poor, as it cannot be independently adjusted for intensity and on/off settings. Room keys demagnetize for no reason. Services: needs to be reviewed. Waitstaff are inattentive, breakfast is not up to Grand Hotel standards, and housekeeping leaves carts in the hallways with visible trash bags and dishes/bottles from room service left out for hours in view of guests. Little punctuality from the bar and communication between the bar and kitchen. Wifi in the room is slow. One expects much more from a Hilton of this level.
