Hotel Susa

We paid a significant amount for a room with air conditioning, but upon arriving in the morning, I informed the reception that it was not working, and they told us they would resolve it. Returning in the evening with 34°C, the air conditioning still did not work; they brought us a fan to "resolve our issue," but it only moved the hot air. We woke up hoarse and with a sore throat; we raised the issue again at check-out at the reception, but the only response we received was a speech about how much money the owners spent on the air conditioning system and also a "Guys, you have to pay the tourist tax." This poor service is truly impressive, especially since we did not receive any compensation for the poor climatic conditions of the room.

We only stayed one night but we are thrilled. The hotel is clean, modern, quiet and equipped with every comfort (courtesy slippers and kettle in the room). Breakfast is the highlight as it has a rich area for celiacs and offers cakes, cream croissants, chocolate and vegans, cereal and yogurt, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh fruit, bread, jam, Nutella and honey, boiled eggs, hot drinks and fresh juice. Sara was very kind from the first contact and we loved the hotel. We moved as much as possible on foot because the area is still very nice but the metro is two minutes convenient. Just the only flaw I had asked for a lactose-free yogurt in booking and I was not made to find. We recommend it to anyone traveling for leisure or business in Milan.
