Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brescia during a recent business trip and came away genuinely impressed. Check‑in was quick and friendly, and the ample on‑site parking made arriving after a long drive much easier than expected. The lobby and reception area have a clean, modern look that sets a positive tone from the start.
My room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with everything I needed to work in the evening and unwind afterwards. I’ve stayed in plenty of Hilton properties over the years, and this one easily holds its own in terms of quality and attention to detail.
The gym was a good size with enough equipment for a proper workout, and breakfast was excellent. There was a wide selection, everything was fresh, and if you’re down early, the warm, freshly baked bread is a standout.
I also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The food was well prepared, service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere made it a relaxing end to the day. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my stay.
Staff throughout the hotel were consistently welcoming, professional and genuinely helpful. One small point for international travellers: local regulations mean you can’t simply add a tip to your bill, which may be different from what some visitors are used to.
Overall, this was an excellent stay. Whether you’re visiting Brescia for business or leisure, I’d happily recommend this hotel and would choose it again on my next trip.

Although I quite like the Doubletree brand, this hotel fell short of previous experiences. Staff are not particularly friendly, rooms are borderline depressing, but the biggest disappointment was breakfast. The hot items were potatoes, carrots and powdered scrambled egg. Interestingly, you could order a la carte 'extras' such as avocado and salmon, for 16 euros. I had already paid for breakfast, and I would expect these as standard at a buffet at a Hilton brand. It seems to be a cynical ploy to part the guest with more of their money. In fact, I checked out a day early even though the rate was prepaid, and I moved to the Lenel. Can't recommend this hotel.

Nice for one night sleep over. Beds are comfy, toiletteries, hairdryer, fridge are available. Breakfast was ok but everyone was complaining that bread was not fresh, and it’s true(they shouldn’t have cut it themselves in advance). At arrival you get complimentary local fresh baked cookies.
