Hotel Vittorio

I could not recommend this hotel enough. The location was perfect, loads of bars and restaurants around and very close to the ferry. Rooms were clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were amazing, so accommodating - there’s a real family vibe among the staff, which made it a really nice atmosphere. Good value for money we thought, as you get breakfast included etc. There was a bar directly below our room and there was zero noise, which was fantastic. The view was amazing also, 10/10 would definitely come back and looking forward to it already! Special thanks to the reception staff, you guys are great!

Definitely the place to stay in Desenzano - I booked a double room for single use - room 202 was directly opposite the lift but I did not notice any excessive noise whilst there. The ladies on reception were both very pleasant-- I believe one was called Aurora - we checked in early as our rooms were ready. - my room was spacious with a very large double shower and a sofa bed. There is tea and coffee in the room...but no milk. There is a small fridge and a safe - had to pay 20 euros deposit but this was refunded after my stay. The room was cleaned each day and there was shower gel and hand wash provided. Breakfast was buffet style -plenty of choice....lots of different teas and coffee available from the machine - juices were more like squash but still very tasty - there were hot choices like egg/bacon/omelette/sausage and pastries and cakes - also lots of fresh fruits/yogurts and cereal. The location is fantastic - right on the main square and restaurants as you walk out the door but we did not notice any outside noise during our stay. Air Con in the room was very welcome with 30-35 degree heat! There is a room where you can leave your luggage if your return flight is later in the day. Would not hesitate to return to this hotel My friend stayed in room 205 which had a large terrace.

Really nice hotel overlooking the lake. Big clean room with a little balcony overlooking the square and a bit of the lake. Good value for such a great location near loads of restaurants, the shops and the promenade. We arrived by car and you have to park at a public car park about ten minutes walk away, which is not very far. The cost is greatly reduced through the hotel. You can park outside the hotel to unload and load. DO NOT follow the satnav to the hotel though. It took us down through restricted streets and we would have been really stuck if it wasn't for a local who directed us through a small car park. Just drive down to the seafront at either end of the town and follow it until you reach the hotel. Loads to choose from at breakfast and plenty of room in the breakfast room or you can sit outside. Nice sitting outside having a drink in the evening, people watching. No need to buy water at Desenzano. Opposite the hotel on the seafront there is a water fountain and there are several others dotted around the town and on the seafront with safe drinking water. Very friendly staff and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
