Clean, bright, spacious apartment with views to die for. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfy, spotlessly clean. Beautiful balcony and stunning pool area. Yes - Tricky parking, but we didn’t find it an issue at all. Helpful owners. Excellent communication. Beautiful Bellano and Varenna in very easy reach. Local centre of Dervio at lake front fabulous too with lovely bars, cafes. Only negatives; Not a lamp or cushion in sight! Felt very austere. Bright main ceiling lights, that’s all. Meant you couldn’t read your book before bed without a glaring light! Also all seating was uncomfortable. No cushions for outdoor seating or sun beds made them difficult to relax on. No air con (which is fine) but only one fan. Very old scratchy towels. If the owners added a couple of these finishing touches it would be 5 star!

Outstanding location, incredible views of Lake Como, the mountains, the towns and villages surrounding this beautiful place. Stayed here 3 nights for my wife’s birthday treat. The accommodation was clean, modern and comfortable. Wi-fi didn’t work but you needed no distractions from the incredible scenery. Kitchen dining area, 1 bedroom and bathroom with shower. A balcony with seating for 4, dining table outdoors as well as one inside. Kitchen was very well equipped, apart from a kettle and of all things a pizza cutter. Central heating was easy to use and very welcome. Parking provided as part of your stay, tricky car park, go slow, but try not to stall the car. You are ideally situated to visit many or all of the towns and villages surrounding Lake Como, park up the car take a train to Tirana, then jump on the Bernina Express spend some time in Switzerland or travel to the various tourist attractions nearby. St Moritz only 1.5 hours away. Overall great place to visit, nowhere near as expensive as we thought it would be, Pizza about 15 Euros, 2 course dinner, 24 Euros, the best coffee I have ever had about 2 Euros. Communication from hosts was exceptional, they will send you an interactive floor plan, directions and provide a folder with all the information you will need. There is also a pool and jacuzzi, weather permitting.

Nice contact with the host in advance. The route there was exciting. It is high up in Dorio so a lot of bunting. The driveway is so steep that our car almost stopped. But for that you also have a very nice view, because you are a bit higher! Spacious, clean rooms and a nice communal pool.
