Relais I Due Roccoli

We chose this hotel mostly because we were passing through, but the choice was spot on. Upon arrival, you can already see a very well-maintained park and welcoming, professional staff. The room was not exceptional, were it not for the terrace overlooking Lake Iseo, a true delight. The pool was cool, but it was the end of September, while the heated jacuzzi was just fine; there is also a sauna, but we did not use it. The restaurant overlooks the park, but it is very beautiful, and the food is exquisite. Breakfast in the room on the terrace so we could admire the view even more. Last but not least: we have two medium-sized dogs and they are allowed everywhere, the icing on the cake.

If you are looking for a place capable of combining elegance, excellent cuisine, and a breathtaking view, the Relais I Due Roccoli in Iseo is a choice that exceeds every expectation. We recently celebrated our son's baptism here and we could not be happier with our choice: it was a simply impeccable experience from every point of view. The property overlooks Lake Iseo from a privileged position, nestled in a centuries-old park maintained down to the smallest detail. The real gem of the day was the room with the panoramic window: eating while facing the spectacle of the lake and the surrounding hills provides a magical, bright, and visually striking atmosphere. For an important event like a baptism, it offers that sober and refined elegance that leaves all the guests speechless. The gastronomic offering was of the highest level. The menu skillfully combined local tradition with a touch of modern creativity: Very fresh raw materials and striking presentations, worthy of a high-end restaurant. Perfect cooking and balanced flavor combinations, with a special note of merit for the first courses and main courses with locally sourced meat. Exceptional wine list, with a wide selection of Franciacorta and local wines. A special round of applause goes to the entire staff. From the first contact for the planning of the event to the final farewells, the service was exemplary. The dining room staff proved to be always discreet, attentive to every smallest need of the guests (including the little ones), and guided by a masterfully coordinated management. The kindness, the smile, and the attention to detail from the management and the waiters made everyone feel pampered and welcomed.

Location has a spectacular view of Lake Iseo. The rooms were superb in beaty, functionality, and cleanliness. We especially enjoyed the king size bed in the "Blue Suite". The suite was big enough for my daughter and her seven brides to get ready comfortably with lots of mirror space. The meals at the restaurant were appetizing and flavorful. The open-air atmosphere was delightful in the evening after a hot day. They accommodating my grandson with a special pesto pasta meal every night, especially since it was not on their menu. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of variety to meet everyone's desires. The wait staff was always friendly and helpful to those of us who do not speak Italian well. Speaking of staff, we cannot thank Luca enough for all his assistance during our stay.
