B&B Sibi

Room with bathroom located on the second floor without elevator corresponding perfectly to what is advertised. Everything is very clean. The room is spacious. Nice big TV with Netflix. Lunch is prepared (self-service) in a room on the other side of the landing. It can be taken on the balcony offering a beautiful view of the lake. Everything you need is there, including croissants. Parking in the property under roof but the gate remains open. A few restaurants are within walking distance. Suggestions for improvement: equip one or the other window with a mosquito net and place a refrigerator allowing you to easily put something other than bottles. Be a little more responsive to calls, texts and emails.

This B & B is a nice difference from the resort hotels all around the lake. Lierna is just south of Varenna. This place is in a house up the hill with great views of the lake and mountain. The breakfast room has a great balcony and amazing views. The breakfast is pretty much self-service so there is no pressure to move out. We found ourselves lingering on the balcony a lot. The B & B is newly updated. Clean, tiled, and modern. The owner lives two floors below. Perhaps the only drawback is that the area is so quiet you can hear barking dogs, people talking in the yard next door or movement in the building, but after 10 pm it is dead quiet. It's in a town up a hill so a car is required. I would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I booked three nights at the B&B Sibi for a long weekend to Lake Como. It ended up being exactly what we needed. Davide is a gracious host, and the B&B is perfectly comfortable and private! Lierna is a cute little Italian coastal town, with easy access to hiking, yummy restaurants, and the ferry to other towns on Lago di Como. The only suggestion I have is this: perhaps offer some fresh fruit at breakfast, along with the pastries and cereal. Otherwise, keep up the good work!
