Perfect location… ( BUT)…great suite views and balcony…Great food… lovely and helpful staff….excellent porterage…..A Deluxe suite it is NOT… 20 year old televisions x2 which are appalling …. Internet 🛜 is shockingly old fashioned….. chairs and couch that your granny would have thrown out years ago…and at an expensive price…. Without the view and balcony we would not have stayed…..and it’s expensive. Such a pity that the owners have not invested to get the detail right… such excellent potential.

Our stay at Hotel Villa Flori was truly a paradise on Lake Como! From the moment we arrived, we were incredibly impressed. The hotel is absolutely beautiful—an authentic Italian gem with so much charm and elegance. Our room had the most magical view of the lake, surrounded by breathtaking mountains. Waking up to that scenery every morning was unforgettable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each day, and every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. We also loved relaxing with an Aperol Spritz at the bar overlooking the lake, and one evening we had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s Michelin-star reimondi restaurant, which was an exceptional experience. What made our stay even more special was the outstanding hospitality. The hotel manager Mattia went above and beyond, recommending wonderful activities to help us experience the best of Lake Como. One day, we borrowed the complimentary hotel bikes, visited the local green market, and rode to a nearby town cernobbio where we enjoyed an amazing lunch at cafe lido. Our favorite experience was the private boat tour arranged by the manager. We explored the most beautiful spots around Lake Como, swam in the crystal-clear water, and the hotel thoughtfully provided towels, Aperol Spritz, water, and snacks. Our boat guide Eduardo was fantastic and made the day even more memorable. Mattia Thank you for the thoughtful bottle of champagne to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. It was a wonderful surprise, and we truly enjoyed it while taking in the amazing view from our balcony. Thank you, Hotel Villa Flori, for an unforgettable stay. We were there as a family for dinner on Friday evening. I must say that the location, although in my opinion it needs to be renovated, is very pleasant due to its position right on the lake. The dinner was very good, with excellent product quality and, despite the sophistication of the dishes, to our great pleasure the portions were generous. We were afraid it was one of those restaurants that cares more about form than substance. But no, for this reason we will return soon with pleasure. So we liked the place and the food a lot, but the negative note is the staff, all foreigners who speak little Italian and to whom you have to repeat things several times before they get done. Too many for what they do, they don't even pour you water once and they are very inattentive to the customer's needs. I would introduce something fresher on the menu for the summer and something vegetarian! In any case, compliments to the chef!
