Villa Schindler

Unfortunately only partially relaxing. Room facing the garden very loud and dark. A lot of noise from the street. Breakfast is ok, the view from the terrace is very beautiful. Unfortunately also very, very loud there, because the gardener operates the leaf blower for 2 hours exactly at breakfast time. Deafening!! Loud garden work during breakfast on Saturday too. A real shame!!

We were back at this beautiful place after about 20 years. Back then in the villa itself, furnished with beautiful old furniture, and today for a week in an apartment next to the villa. Location still fantastic. In the villa, time has stood still in the best sense of the word. Unfortunately, the apartment was a bit primitive and did not live up to the price charged. The staff members are very friendly and helpful.

The beautiful old Villa Schindler is nestled in a large, well-kept garden surrounded by pine trees, cypress trees, olive trees and oleanders. There are 9 rooms and several apartments. The rooms are all lovingly and individually designed. The very tasty and varied breakfast is poured on a terrace with fantastic lake views. Breakfast is included in the rooms. The apartments can also book it. Dinner can also be booked after consultation. Drinks, ice cream and pastries are available 24 hours a day. Simply enter on a note and enjoy. On the grounds there is still a nice pool with plenty of loungers, and several cozy places that invite you to linger. From everywhere you have a fantastic view of Lake Garda. This can be reached on foot through an olive grove, or by car along the road. Once there on the private property (direct lake access), you can relax on comfortable loungers, or in hammocks under shaded olive trees. In a small shed you can put your SUP, or anything else. If you want some variety, you can take part in a tasting of typical local delicacies, or book a massage. There are several restaurants nearby, all within easy walking distance. Our 7th. Staying in the Villa has just ended, and we are already planning the next one again. We would like to thank Anna Brotto and her ENTIRE team.
