Very small stuffy room, aircon didn’t work and room smelt musky. There were hairs on the floor in the bathroom (not ours). The young recieptionist was lovely.

I absolutely loved my three night stay at Hotel Broletto. The room was fabulous – spacious, well equipped, clean and stylish. There was a Lavazza Espresso machine in the room for that early morning coffee, luxury hygiene products in the bathroom, a fully stocked complimentary mini bar, and a comfortable bed. The en-suite has everything you need. Everything was in good condition and fresh. There is a lift too – never to be underestimated. The hotel breakfast is a typical Italian fare but really well done. A variety of fresh cornettos, pastries and cakes every day, fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, cereals, and a cappuccino machine. Winning! They have a convivio station set up in the breakfast room during the day and evening for anyone who would like a hot drink or snack. The standout though would have to be the hotel staff, Nicole, Anita, Deborah and in particular – Diletta, who went out of her way to ensure my stay was everything I wanted and perhaps didn’t know I needed. She was absolutely brilliant, cheerful, helpful, lots of great tips and suggestions which made my stay a breeze. Communication was excellent before, during and even after leaving. The location is central to everything you want to do and see. This hotel is a 10/10 in every way. I am very glad I chose to visit Mantova/Mantua and that I chose Hotel Broletto.

Well..the young women who manage this hotel/ bnb are fantastic. Great with restaurant tips, places not to miss, train info The location is also great..you are right in the city center BUT: The desk is not manned 24/7. Plan your arrival carefully. There is no lobby..just a desk in a room Our room was unbelievably stuffy. The AC was OFF. I don’t know if this was Italian policy or just the hotel. They advertise that they have it. I opened the hall windows, our room windows and the room door to get some circulation going. Our room faced a noisy street, but we needed air, and it did abate after 10pm, BUT really loud street cleaning? trucks arrive at around 5 am. I thought a jet was going to land in the room. Breakfast was fine with me..croissant and a cappuccino..both were good enough. 2.5 really I noticed plenty of attractive BnBs in the historic center. Hotels seemed limited, but Broletto really isn’t a hotel..it’s something in- between. Can’t recommend
