A stay at the Hotel Italia that is certainly unforgettable... Let's put it this way, I stayed there because it was chosen by the teachers for the school trip, otherwise I would have gladly done without it. Even my 90-year-old great-grandmother doesn't have 1950s decor with peeling wallpaper. Not to mention the hole behind the TV... so mysterious and deep that you could go spelunking in it. A broken hair dryer and a shower with all the jets plus one made up the decor of the Smurf-blue bathroom. Then the first night I had to ask the staff (I must say a bit grumpy) to change the sheets because they were full of crumbs under the pilled blanket. As for breakfast, good job Mulino Bianco! Excellent rusks. In short, strongly discouraged.

I am sorry to have to write a negative review, but when I travel for work, and others book for me, I do not like to find a very old bathroom with a "mosaic" of different tiles, a wooden mirror that is broken and swollen with water and humidity, rickety cabinets, a shower with a handheld showerhead that can only be held in hand, and a broken door. Fortunately, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable, but there was only one chair and a clothes rack to place my things. A table or a desk would have been useful. Simple breakfast, good selection of cakes.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for the June 2nd holiday. The hotel is furnished in an outdated style. At night, it is impossible to sleep. There was a lot of confusion from other guests, but I believe also from the staff who were coming and going on shift. In the morning, they indeed apologized. The breakfast is disappointing with somewhat hard pastries and mediocre coffee. The positive aspect, however, is the convenience of the location.
