Unfortunately the hotel looked much better than it finally was. We chose it because we were looking for a charming place near Milano Centrale. Our choice was successful regarding location, not so much regarding charme. The garden is nice and a person with more taste could make a lot more of this beautiful old house. But taste is relative: much more problematic is quality. We paid 229 EUR for a triple bedroom. On the plus side: yes it was spacious, composed of two rooms. The beds were comfortable. With big cupboards for those who want to stay longer (who wants?). Two desks. But on the minus side: it was under the roof, thus very hot (thank good it wasn‘t so hot), one window very difficult to open, the shower cabin was superficially clean but full of chalk, the water tub of the sink was loose, there were no plugs to charge electric devices unless we unplugged lamps or the TV. The breakfast on the internet must be photographed in another hotel or on christmas: when you come to the lobby in the morning you realize they transform it into a breakfast room, but they don’t even set the table for the right amount of people (us: 3), all tables are just for two. But if someone complains here in the comments, either about the quality of the rooms, the breakfast or the price the owner of the place, Signora Isabelle gets quite angry and even insulting. And thats why I decided to leave a review. You can’t deliver bad quality at a high price and than just insult people. Try harder, improve. You have a great house, a great location, you could make something out of it! It‘s not your guests fault!

I booked one night for an overnight stop before an onward journey and wish I had stayed longer. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable and spacious for a single room. Lovely outside area and close enough to the main shopping area and also the main station but far enough from both to be quiet. Breakfast (extra charge) had everything you could want in a continental breakfast. I will be returning again.

When I am passing through Milan I always choose this hotel because it is located in an excellent quiet area and for the courtesy of the staff. The breakfast is good. The room is not too large, but clean. I'd say all that's missing is a small fridge.
