Best Western Hotel Milton Milano

Unfortunately, the room assigned to me still has carpet that should be removed from every four-star hotel! The structure is a bit dated, but overall comfortable given its proximity to the Maciachini metro. Credit goes to the breakfast, which was truly good and complete. Friendly staff.

When we booked the room we made sure to check that the hotel had the services we wanted. (Wifi, AC, family room and easy accessibility) When we arrived at the hotel and were to check in, we were told about the city treasure that no one had told us in advance. I was informed that since they were a 4-star hotel that it was 10 euros per person per night. When we got the room to get us up, we quickly noticed that this was not a family room, one set of bedding was dirty and that the ac didn't work. We then went down to the reception and asked why the ac didn’t work and if they could change the bed because the bed cover was dirty. The answer we got about the AC that didn't work was "this is only at this time of year". But we could open the windows. The room we had was on the 7th floor. So maybe not so wise and recommend it, as the windows open enough that there is no problem that a small young/small adult clear and fall out. The bed cover could change them but, they disagreed that it was dirty. Family room we got was a simple double room, as they had just stacked a field bed into the one corner. The breakfast was a very simple breakfast. Nothing fancy or special. Maybe not exactly the 15 euros it costs per person, as there are several cafes and restaurants nearby that can offer more at a better price. And lastly, the hotel is close to a train station/tram. (5-10 min). Not very central, but close enough that it doesn't get cumbersome and get around the city.

Unacceptable! The room booked through an agency (idilliz) was gross! Classified 4****! 10€ tax per day and per person! Carpet stained, filthy toilets, dust everywhere, stains galore, marked murals, peeled wallpaper, blackened bathroom joints, limestone showerhead, jerky TV reception... I'll go on. The receptionist hides behind the fact that the hotel does not belong to her! Crazy. Very bad experience. Yet the potential is enormous. The entrance hall is masterful, art deco, the rooms are spacious.
