Best Western Villa Appiani

Nice and charming hotel, in a historic building, very well appointed. The staff is kind and attentive. We haven't dined at the restaurant but we heard good things about it.

Excellent, perfect stay!

I had chosen Villa Appiani for my wife's birthday, therefore for a special occasion, and precisely for this reason I had booked a Queen Superior. I was assigned a room facing the street: this morning a group of cyclists under the window woke us up. A Superior should also guarantee an adequate location; otherwise, the position must be declared during the booking phase. An even more negative note is the breakfast: served until 11:00 AM, at a cost of 15 euros per person. We went down at 10:00 AM and there was nothing — neither pastries nor cakes. When I asked if the croissants were about to come out, I was told yes, only to be told later by a kitchen staff member that she couldn't bake them because she was baking bread. It's hard to call it organized service. The room itself is up to standard and the beds are very comfortable, and the property is truly splendid. But it's the first time something like this has happened to me and, with regret, I will not return.
