Superb hotel for our stopover on the way south. It is very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included and very pleasant. The welcome is smiling. In short, nothing to complain about.

Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to personally evaluate the hotel because 15 days before my arrival, with a confirmed reservation paid in March (without the possibility of cancellation or refund), the stay was canceled. I must mention that not only my family and I had booked (3 rooms), but about 25 people sent to a wedding, including the couple, found ourselves without accommodation for two nights, 15 days before the wedding, in the middle of summer, vacation season. I do not dispute the technical problem that led to the cancellation of the rooms for the repair of a system, but I do not believe that a simple refund resolves the issue of the damage caused. As a rule of good hospitality and respect for paying guests, they should have redirected and booked themselves at another facility. Being told that we should have been understanding did not help or resolve the problem. I ask where, for two nights, the wedding guests will need to go? I ask who is responsible for paying any price difference, being so close to the date of the event? I ask who will cover the costs for any transportation that may need to be arranged if the new hosting facility is significantly far from the location of the event. I ask the employee who asked me for understanding because the hotel would remain closed (I remind her that such facilities are covered by insurance) to put herself in the shoes of all those people who spent money to travel to Italy for an important event like a wedding, who may be forced to give it up because they will not find an alternative with such short notice. Not to mention the newlyweds who are facing a significant problem of reallocating about 25 people in addition to themselves, as they are residing abroad. I reiterate that a simple refund and an email of apology and regret for the incident do not meet the standards of good hospitality and welcome.
