HOLIDAY INN ASSAGO

We stayed here as a family of 11, with teenagers and children under 7, and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is clean, modern and really well maintained, but what stood out most was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The free shuttle service in the morning and evening to the nearest Tube station was a real bonus, especially with such a large family. The shuttle is also available during the day for a small fee, which makes getting around even easier. There’s plenty to enjoy at the hotel itself too. The food was good, the bar was a great place to relax, and the swimming pool was excellent. Breakfast offered lots of choice and was very good value for money. We actually stumbled across this hotel a year ago and were so impressed that we decided to come back this year. With a family as large and varied as ours, finding somewhere that works for everyone isn’t easy—but this hotel really does. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to families.

Reception staff friendly and knowledgeable. Bar staff were awful, often rude, I stopped going to bar as I felt an inconvenience. Hotel bar was not welcoming very clinical. WI-FI in the overall hotel was dreadful but ok in reception area so at least my husband could work. The cleanliness of room was ok but the decor and finishing touches were poor. Never left toilet roll had to ask. Although not the hotels fault, the location was disappointing. Close to amenities but you had to get transfer as hotel was on a motorway and no accessible footpaths so I felt stuck in when husband was working. Pool area was a bonus but could have been cleaner. Overall I felt like a teenager who had to be home for 10:30 as the transfers went off by the hotel, overall not very friendly but the rest of the hospitality of Milan was fabulous
