Hotel Nizza

I just spent 7-nights at Hotel Nizza and really enjoyed my stay. I was in town for Salone Del Mobile and it was very easy access to the Loreto metro station which is a direct connection to Rho. I requested a quiet, non-smoking room before my stay and within 24-hours they had responded, granting my request. The hotel is 3 floors. The ground floor has a couple of rooms, reception desk a breakfast bar (which had a great selection of fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, juice and eggs). The first floor has 4 rooms, two overlooking the street and 2 over the gardens. The rooms overlooking the garden have balconies. I was on the top floor where there is also 4 rooms, again 2 overlooking the street and 2 over the garden. I was happily in a room overlooking the garden (#42 & #43). The room and bathroom was perfectly clean and well service every day. The friendly and accommodating family were really lovely and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. As I have only ever stayed in a 4-star hotel, I was nervous when my company booked this room but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. It’s also walking distance to a shopping strip, you could even walk to the duomo in 30 mins. It’s also a 15 minute walk to central station (which offer airport transfers for 10 euro compared to 95 euro in a taxi).

Only 2* hotel, I did not expect anything special. This hotel was absolutely enough for two nights and I have anything to complain about. Lobby is not really roomy. Almost impossible to walk around somebody checking in. No place to sit, after check-out we would appreciate it. Our room (nr. 42) was quite spacious with large comfortible bed and a beautiful (but extremely small) bathroom. Everything looks new, no scratches, no damages. Cleanness was on a really high level. Window was situated to the courtyard, no street. Breakfast is typical italian. We had never had lack of anything. We used to sit in a winter garden. It is a pitty the weather was not better, we could eat in the garden. Staff in this hotel is really helpful. It seems it is a family of Vietnamese. Always smiling, nothing is problem for them. Nor english. We were really happy in this hotel. I could highly recommend it.

I had a room with a 'garden-view' so I didn't experienced any noise. Asian family was very helpful (especially the young girl who speaks fluent english). Cant say anything bad about breakfast. Located very close to central station and metro station. Buenos Aires street (where you can find all kind of shops and restaurants) is just nerby. Room was clean, not very big but enough for 2 people.
