Hotel Serena

Good location: within walking distance to Milano Centrale and the Lima metro station. Friendly team. Clean room with a comfortable queen-size bed, well air-conditioned, bathroom with bidet and shower. Not pleasant: Step/trip hazard from bedroom to bathroom of approx. 10 cm, shower stall very small (approx. 60x60 cm); a rainfall shower is nice, but due to the cramped nature of the shower stall, it can only be adjusted when you are already standing under it (which genius came up with that?). Breakfast was completely satisfactory.

Very average hotel. Small, poorly soundproofed room. A problem in the bathroom that was never addressed despite our request. Very expensive breakfast. Unpleasant staff. Positive point: the location near the subway, 4 stops from the Duomo. Despite this, we will not recommend it!

I stayed here for three nights and had a good stay in total. The location is good, not far from the main station, a lot of shops, restaurants and cafes in the area, as well as a nearby metro station. My room had modern interior, was clean a well working AC and everything was fine, except for that the fridge was not working. My room's door was right next to the elevator, that could be bothersome for people with light sleep. Also the room was really small. The staff was friendly throughout my stay.
