Hotel Virgilio Milano

Literally all I want from a European hotel is a bed, a toilet, a shower, and the internet. This place cheaps out and doesn't pay for enough bandwidth for their guests. So it isn’t “broken”, they just choose not to have this amenity. It also doesn’t have a smart TV, so when you get in your room at night, you can’t watch TV unless you speak Italian and you can barely plan the next day. I can’t get videos on my phone and I can’t make phone calls. It’s especially bad at like 9:00 at night and 8:00 in the morning. Trying to use it has just added so much frustration to my stay. I have screen shots of random times when the internet didn’t work.

The room smelled as if dead rats were in the corners. It was extremely cold because they shut down the heat during the night-how can you shut down the heat during the nights in December??(all three nights). It was a minus one star hotel. Not to mention the fact that the floor was made from marble and it stinked.

It was smelly and the bathroom door was not good but practically as one in a public WC. There was a hole in the lower part of the bathroom door. There were some (most probably dirty) socks at the balcony.
