Airport Station Bergamo Guesthouse

Terrible service!!! Waited at check in 1.5h and in order to give away oversized baggage again we need to stand in a line for another 1.5h !!! 😡 There should be another system. Looks like airport management do not know that majority of travellers have oversized baggage!

Simply The worst experience I had for a booking. Late check in on site tells only 10 euros between 23:30 and 00:00. Between 00:00 and 00:30 they charge 20 euros and between 00:30 and 01:00 they charge 40 (an email was later sent with this information). We booked the check in between 00:00 and 00:30 and paid 20 euros. The plane was late and we arrived at 00:00 at Bergamo Airport. (Nowadays planes are always late) When I got the luggage and head for the bus I got a call from the property, city hub, saying that we were late. I told them the plane had just arrived and we got on the bus and we had started the ten minute ride until Bergamo. It was not under my control the plane to be late. I told I would pay the 40 euros and the lady told us it was not her problem. We should have booked earlier the late check in. I told her we had no place to sleep and we would pay the 40 euros. She told it was not her problem and she hung the phone. When we arrived at 00:40 the office was closed and we had no place to sleep. Great work city hub! This has been the worst experience. They are rude and not client oriented. AVOID this property. We spent 66 euros plus 20 for late check in, which makes 86 euros to sleep in the street. We ended up in the Mercure Hotel. 75 euros all included. No craps with check ins. Avoid this property. You are better served elsewhere. If these properties do not understand that they have to be flexible there is no point in having them open to receive customers. I suggested many options and the lady kept telling no. This was not her problem. I even suggested paying 40 euros for a check in between 00:30 and 01:00. This is unreal! Avoid at all costs. Places like this should not be open.

Great location in the heart of Bergamo, close to train and bus station. Spacious room in b&b, bed was a bit uncomfortable and no extra pillows but due to a leak, we were upgraded to the apartment upstairs which was fabulous and fully equipped. There was also a huge balcony. Breakfast is basic, but a bakery downstairs that sold the most delicious pastries. We arrived early and were allowed to check in at 10am which was great and check out was 11 but we were able to leave our bags there at no extra cost. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would return.
