B&B Ca Rossa

Superior b&b located on the hills o bergamo with a fancy view on upper bergamo. Quite place courtesy of the owner. Reallly good breakfast in the room with a chimney dated XVI. a surprise find surely go try again.

The place is beautiful clean, tidy (everyday), and lovely. Located few kilometers from the old town and takes only 10 minutes to reach the old city. The breakfast is enormous and delicious. The price was more then reasonable. We enjoyed immensely.

Booked this about 1 month in advance via expedia - on arrival told by owner Pierangela Belotti that all rooms had been allocated to another large group and we would be easier to relocate. This really is substandard service having made a 3 hour car journey to be told we would spend a further 30-45 mins to get to the alternative accomodation. The room offered was in the middle of the noisy city centre and was a basic apartment. It was nothing like we had pre-booked. Next morning the self serve breakfast provided was so poor we vacated to a local cafe to have something decent. When we decided to leave the next morning we offered part of asking price which I considered fair and just due to the inconvenience, difference in room condition and lack of decent breakfast. Our offer was initially snubbed by Pierangela then eventually when accepted we were asked to leave premises immediately under a dark cloud. Incredible service all round so I warn others to think long and hard before booking this b&b in case the same stunt is pulled on you and reading other TA revews of properties this lady owns I believe it has happened to others before me too.
