Hotel Restaurant Il Sole

Highly recommended hotel. Very lovely staff. Very clean, large rooms, unfortunately without air conditioning. Good value for money. Otherwise everything is tip-top. We really enjoyed our weekend at the hotel.

We only ate in the restaurant. The pizzas were good, and the service was also very friendly. What really annoyed us, however, was the charged cover charge of 12 euros. We saw that others received bread & olive oil. We received nothing and also noted this when paying. The unfriendly lady just said that it was customary that way. We have not experienced this in Italy before. Therefore, please ensure that one at least receives bread.

Dishes and prices are average. Good pizza but a bit salty. It's a shame we were forced to have lunch in the bar area with a terrible noise coming from the counter, without even a tablecloth, because we didn't want to sit in the outdoor garden. We asked if we could sit in the room adjacent to the bar where several tables were already set, but we were told no because there were only a few waiters available. I don't think we will return.
