DREAM COME TRUE! The owners were absolutely wonderful, so homely, welcoming and nothing was too much bother! Always so happy! Settled up in the hills of old town citta alta and it was absolutely breathtaking! Full of history and so much detail! Every inch had something beautiful to look upon. Our room was beautiful, authentic with a very well kept stone balcony area surrounded by authentic terracotta roofing tiles overlooking the beautiful greenery, a gorgeous church with bells that sounded like a dream when they chimed! Absolutely worth every single cent! My first time in Italy and will not be my last! The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal! Super fresh and tasty. The cappuccino? INSANELY PERFECT! Silky, decadent and absolutely delicious. I felt right at home and will 100% return soon!

The hotel is located in a pleasant, calm, and green setting. The parking is appreciated. The room is charming, spacious, very clean, and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and its hills. The breakfast is delicious (especially the fresh fruit salad), very varied, and abundant. The hosts are extremely charming and available. The entrance to the upper town of Bergamo is a 20-minute walk away, and if you want to avoid this walk, the establishment offers a very fast and convenient shuttle service as parking is difficult. I recommend this hotel without hesitation, as it is probably one of the best options for staying near the beautiful city of Bergamo.

This is the perfect place to stay in Bergamo. Nestled in the hills above Citta Alta, it is a 25 minute walk to town( gorgeous walk) and a quick walk to hiking trails above. Book a bike tour before you arrive! I loved the Accademia Carrara museum and the old town is scenic with a Saturday market of hand made goods. The people at the hotel are so friendly and always there with a smile and a kind word. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean, a breakfast buffet with eggs made to order and a lovely veranda to sit out in and enjoy nature.
